a subject line of "argus" has no value.

this will send all sorts of log messages to syslog.
if you read these messages, you may find them helpful.

the example configs are modeled after someone else's
network. they are not expected to work. you need to
understand what you are doing and write your own config.
the ip address "10.205.1.228" is a private address
often used in example files, and is not normally
going be reachable. if your network is actually
using private addresses, you will need to contact
your local network administrators for help.
